Differentiated Instruction
At Holy Family Catholic Academy our faculty believes that no two children are alike and that no two children learn in the same way. The use of differentiated instruction allows teachers to maximize learning for all students.

- is an instructional framework that promotes using varied instructional approaches for students in the classroom. The curriculum is adjusted to meet the needs of many students to maximize learning;
- allows all students the opportunity to be equally engaged and appropriately challenged;
- focuses on the same concepts for all students, with appropriate adjustments made to support or enrich students when necessary; and
- is a dynamic process. Students are grouped and re-grouped based on the subject matter, ongoing teacher evaluation, and student performance. Groups may be based on ability, learning styles, personality types, and mixed ages to mirror a 21st-century workplace environment.
